the EVNSONG
the EVNSONG
The EVNSONG is the brainchild of industry veteran Miles Williams, an arts impresario with an unparalleled legacy in live entertainment who has contributed to over 4500 shows in the past 30 years; featuring legends such as Johnny Cash, Smokey Robinson, Dolly Parton, Yo-Yo Ma, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Alicia Keys, Thom Yorke, Tori Amos, Miley Cyrus, and Stevie Wonder.
As an early stakeholder in the renaissance of Downtown Los Angeles, he fulfilled a pivotal role in the transformation of both the Orpheum Theatre and the United Theatre on Broadway, hosting countless music luminaries as well as numerous television specials including American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, America’s Got Talent, and the Daytime Emmys.
Recent endeavors have included the historic ALEX Theatre, curating an ongoing showcase of international music, film festivals, ballet and modern dance, comedy, special events, podcasts, and orchestral music. The EVNSONG has reinvented the ALEX as the theatre for misfit shows - offering its stage to artistic gems that are overlooked by mainstream promoters but cherished by its patrons from every background.
Defined by its mission-driven approach to arts programming, The EVNSONG embodies its commitment to the magic of live entertainment creating transcendent experiences through its collaborations with independent artists and promoters.
Enjoying music from many eras and genres, a favorite activity is looking through the vinyl section at record stores while reminiscing about shows from the past 30 years.

A lifelong lover of the desert, mountains, beaches, and seas. Miles splits his time between Wyoming and California, and all states in between. Preferring overland travel to the bustle of airports. Trains and Road Trips create their own kind of magic and inspiration.
The van and me in Joshua Tree
A place that can leave one profoundly changed in a different way each and every visit. The stones have softness, the plants a resilience. All of the elements find themselves alive and create a real sense of presence.
